Heliopolis, “The Sun City”, Faculty Cultural Trip

Azm University, The Jamal Abed Faculty of Architecture organized a cultural visit to the archaeological site in Baalbek as part of its vision to complement the academic experience in the classroom and expose the students to local heritage sites, of which the iconic Roman complex of Baalbek.

Students were accompanied by faculty members, Acting Dean of the department Halah Abi Haydar and archeologist Alia Fares who enriched the visit with her expertise and valuable knowledge of the site and its history across time with the latest archeological findings and the different interpretive theories.
